Watched this BBC series a few months ago, and thought it was really clever and immensely entertaining. It was co-created by Steven Moffat, whom Dr Who fans will know as a writer of the Dr Who series. It took me a while to realise that Dr John Watson in the series is Arthur Dent from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

The series 1 blu-ray is £6.95 at both TheHut and Zavvi, but since there's 10% off today as Scotty posted, it's a bit cheaper from TheHut. Shipping is £0.99.

Series 2 blu-ray is also available at £11.65 after getting 10% off

    Honestly one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. Excellent production value, clever plots and absolutely stellar acting from all involved.

    I love this series. Great acting, excellent cinematography and if you're an Arthur Conan Doyle fan you'll appreciate the references and the clever ways the original Victorian era Sherlock Holmes stories have been faithfully adapted to a modern day setting. The DVDs are worth getting and the commentaries/extras are fairly interesting.

    When I bought the DVDs at Amazon several months back they were around twice the price, so this seems like a reasonable deal.

        Cheaper on Amazon at £10.97 but with more expensive postage. I might get it next time I order from Amazon.
