Looking for The Best Data Plan. Heavy User No Home Options

I have no access to home internet where I live but I am a power user and just blew through 250gb hot spotting to a ps5 and laptop in 2 weeks

Looking for a good data plan that's sim based, Vodafone gets spotty coverage where I live. (Dutton park qld)

Work will reimburse up to $50 of a plan so I don't mind eating the rest for a good plan.

Felix looks the best but Vodafone network.

Currently spending $50 on amaysim 120gb and it gets decent 2 bar 4G service.

  • Looks like Starlink isn't a good option for gamers, kicks you off games frequently I guess when it swaps satellites.

  • Tpg has unlimited at 16mbps and 2 upload 64$

    Seems like a terrible time

  • Are you gaming, or just downloading updates and that on your ps5?

    • Have been using it like I have a stable home wifi so media streaming too but mainly play single player games.

I think I'll stick to just just downloads and updates unless someone wants to coop

  • Why do you not have access to home internet in Dutton Park? Unfortunately none of the 5G home internet networks allow connection in that area.

    • +1

The place in staying atm doesn't allow it for some reason, been looking for something decent and private in the area has been hell lately

  • Optus phone plan is $69 for 500gb. Can join a data sim for a modem for $20pm extra if not wanting to Hotspot

  • If you don't mind tethering thru a phone, Felix Mobile can be a very decent choice.
