Flybuys Offers Consistently Are Not Registering

I'm getting frustrated, the last 3 times I've used my Flybuys card for special offers it hasn't worked. This has happened on at least another 4-6 occasions.

Their customer service email is OK, eventually they will redeem those points generally, but a) has anyone had this happen before, and b) any idea what i can do to stop it happening??? I am obviously scanning/registering the card properly because the transaction appears in the account, and I have screenshots of the activated offer, so I know its nothing that I'm doing wrong. I shouldn't have to keep checking every time i make a purchase! It's becoming quite annoying!!!!

    What is the time gap between registering for an offer and using it. I've noticed that if you don't give it about an hour; sometimes the usage does not register

    • Yeah I’ve tried a few times to register just before checkout and it doesn’t work

  • I have noticed the same. Woolies and Coles are next to each other and if i get a good bonus offer it will change which door i go in. They never seem to show up in the app and i am not going to bother following it up. It just makes me slower to change back to coles as woolies seems to register consistently.

  • I have been very loyal to woolies over the years, but they recently have stopped giving me points offers so I have moved my shopping over to coles.

    I agree that flybuys is confusing and is not straightforward in any way. You have to rely on the receipts to find out if you are achieving your offers as the app takes days to update when everyday rewards is instant.

    I contacted them myself today via online chat to ask them where my 4-week offer went, they said it just disappears off your end, but they can see it and it'll work out in the end if you follow the dates (which they don't give you by the way, but I asked for).

    It's dumb yes but I am having to sacrifice much of the convenience of everyday rewards to earn some really good points offers. Hope it works out for you!

      Yes it drops out each week and usually returns close to the end of the week.

      Simple. First week take a screenshot. It tells you when the first week ends. Second week will begin the day after (usually a Monday) and ends on the Sunday. Sometimes first week goes for 10 days but week 2,3,4 always starts on Monday and ends on Sunday in my experience.

      Set a reminder on your phone (Week 2 spend $70 etc) and repeat each week. Complicated yet simple, never fails. This is the way…

    They lost me recently regarding their Masterchef cooking ware promtion. I diligently accrued credits, only to find out that there is no stock left. They should offer punters an alternative option.

      Par for the course. Every time they've run these promos it's a case of "The offer is available while stocks last only".

      Everyone does the same thing as you and rushes at the last minute (by which I mean the last 2-3 weeks of the promo) to redeem their points, so it's understandable that stock would disappear.
