What USB-C Hub to Use for This Specific Scenario?

Hi all,

I have a portable monitor that i'm using which is both powered and video transmitted from the USB C port of my laptop. The problem is I can't charge my laptop with USB C charger when this monitor is plugged in. So I'm looking for a usb c hub/dock to get this functionality. Hub should also support HDMI 4K@60hz to be used with a different external monitor as the HDMI ports on my laptop only support 4K @30hz which is unusable.

I found this one - https://www.amazon.com.au/UGREEN-Ethernet-Docking-Station-Ma… - on Amazon but it says 2 usb c ports cannot be used for power supply or video transmission.

Can someone in the same situation provide me some links to the one that they are using?

    That one will do what you want, see the 5th pic for power daisy chain.

        Ah sorry I misread, I don't think you can get a portable dock that does USB-C display out.

    It'll do what you want, type c connection to laptop, simultaneous type c video + hdmi output + passthrough type c charging, but it isn't cheap because scarcity in this solution and the chips required to do it aren't cheap either. Hope your laptop's gpu has DP 1.4 output
