Anyone Purchase 7" Ainol Novo7 Aurora II Recently from BuyinCoins? Bit worried about the latest Notice.

Notice: Please note that 1-3 dead pixels meet the industry standards for LCD screen. We don't accept return referring this.

Notice only seems to be mentioned on the Ainol Novo7 Aurora II. Pretty sure that notice wasn't there when purchased a week or so ago. Is this a bad sign? Mine hasn't arrived yet. Would have Preferred to be aware of this before the Purchase.

  • Yes, I would have liked to know that too. I can live with 1 or 2 dead pixels for the price however.

I received an email saying that my tablet had been sent to the post office. Some other forums are saying there are A and B grades of the ainol, sounds like you and I might be getting the B grade versions

  • You can sometimes fix dead pixels by yourself.. If you do get dead pixels on your screen, try looking on the Google Play market and see if there is an app for it.

  • FYI - received mine just yesterday, all good, no issues.

  • Hi,

I haven't used Android yet and wondered, can you use the Ainol tablets to copy files from a SD card to a portable hard drive? (eg if you were in the hotel room on holidays, could you plug the tablet into the power socket to keep the battery level up and do what I described?)

Also, is it very different working with Android to browse the web, connect to the internet and edit MS Office 2010 documents, compared to Win 7 or Win XP?

Thank you if anyone can help

  • +1

We have both the Ainol Auora & Flame (fron dinodirect).
    No dead pixels on either.
Only the Flame comes with bluetooth but both are also able to copy/transfer files via their supplied USB cables with external devices.
They have their own power socket chargers & are easy to connect to the internet for browsing & email but we haven't any experience with editing MS Office 2010 documents though I believe their are apps available from the play store for this.

  • Had 3 dead pixels on an Aurora. Sold it.
