Pixel 7a Vs Samsung S21 5G Camera

Hi guys, I'm going on a few holidays soon and looking to upgrade my phone camera to get some better pics. I've currently got a samsung s21 5g and looking at a pixel 7a. Upon looking up comparison videos on youtube I can't see a mega difference. Not sure if it's just youtube compression but wondering if it'd actually be a noticeable upgrade?

EDIT: Apparently the 7a faces overheating issues which is bad since I'm going to SE asia, was looking at going from s21 to s23 just for the camera.

  DXO Mark is a website that ranks cameras - they have a section on mobiles too

  If you click into each phone, there is a breakdown on sub-score with photo, video, zoom etc.

  Google what resolution you can blow up camera phone photos to when printing if you're planning on taking this on holiday.

  I was sadly disappointed when I thought I could make large(r) prints from my Pixel 7 Pro camera.
