I have to, and always do ask… How does Amazon even make money? The labor in processing and sending these must make it cheaper to dump or give away…

    Who pays?

Also, I purchased. Thankyou as I was needing a new one since my last one split in half in the washing machine.

    • +1

I do Amazon Flex and for each stop (not parcel), pay is around avg 2-3$ (pay is not per stop but this is estimated average per stop). Don’t know how much went into other process. Amazon charge sellers inventory fee to store their items + selling fee i think which i think overall covers their all expenses. Also, Amazon Flex is cost for them. All tax deductible i think.

Yeah $108ish minimum for a 4 hour block but up to $150 in surge times I’ve found. The shear volume of prime subscribers is where their money comes from

        • +1

Surge is long gone. Doing it from 2020 and this year especially from July, its so hard to find Sat Sun blocks. Use to see 198$ block at 275$. But now forget about surge, I don’t even see any block. Talking about DVT3

      • +1

Is the pay per parcel or per order. Say I ordered 10 orders put into 4 packages, do you get paid more than if it was just 4 orders in 1 package and also for 1 order/package?

        • +1

Pay is per block. 3.5h to 8h depending upon your registered vehicle. In 4h block 40-45 parcel, 5h 50-60, 6.5h 70-88 parcels. Don’t know abt 8h Van blocks.

          • @Kosmo-Kramer: So if say I ordered quite a few items such that the delivery guy had to make 3 separate trips to haul 10 diff parcels, it’s actually better for them and that I shouldn’t feel bad?

            • @ATangk: Amazon have 100s of driver. Route are random. Parcels are given to random drivers. Nothing is set. If you order 10 diff parcels, 1 can have all 10 or 10 can have 1 each. Its all depends upon how Amazon sort parcels and give to drivers.

              • @Kosmo-Kramer: Yes although usually items expected on the same day were shipped at the same time so they travel to the flex dispatch warehouse together, hence much more likely for the one driver to have all of them.

          • @Kosmo-Kramer: how do you get the route to deliver 40 parcels ?

    • How so?

    • +2

They are pretty soft, I returned mine too.

      • medium was too soft?

        • +1

yeah way too soft and it feels cheap

    • Thinking might cancel the order then….

      • cheap is cheap trust me, im super fussy too.

  • +2

Amazon has them at $15.36 again. just bought some after catch ran out.

  • got some. thanks OP!

  • Yes back in stock 👍

  • The biggest false economy in the world is cheap pillows.

    • +3

That's what I used to think so I splurged, purchased a $120 memory foam pillow and it was AWFUL.

Turns out a cheap pillow in a good case wins out.

      • -1

No, a decent (not cheap junk) pillow that suits you wins out. A cheap pillow is just blissful ignorance.

  • Just ordered a couple for $15.36 and then revisited to see the price raised up to $21.94. Looks like i got them at the right time…

    • +2

It's still showing $15.36 for me

      • The price has been moving up and down. When i ordered it said only three available. Looks like they have restocked.

  • +9

Not sure if I want these. I think I'll sleep on it.

  • $19 on MyDeal if already purchasing other items/reduced shipping + 4.2% cashback on CR

  • +1

Best cheap pillows I've bought are from Harris Scarf. They have 3-4 different softnesses/heights and go on sale at half price for $15 which is regularly

  • Are these soft or firmer like memory foam?

  • -2

Dont buy this 3-4 weeks delivery things…we should discourage them ..i think they are using people money to import it…4 weeks for something within australia is disgrace and cheating for 60$ taken for amazon prime subscription….this is more disgraceful or slower than auspost untracked delivery

    • +1

Usually Amazon get the back order super quick, before the estimated timeframe

  • Amazon sold out now? I cant seem to order anymore

    • +1

      Back at 15 dollars

      • Cheers buddy, grabbed one

  • Just ordered from Amazon for same price as title.

  • $26 on Amazon?
