Flowers for Graduation Gift on a Budget

I need a flower bouquet 💐 for my partner's graduation gift.

My budget is $100, and I'm looking for an ideal large, beautiful and colourful 💐.

Does Coles, Woolworths, or Aldi have these types of bouquets?

Any good value florists around Glen Waverley, VIC?

Thanks in advance

Aldi- I have never seen flowers at my aldi other than at valentines

Colesworths, the arrangements are usually poor quality and usually not very fresh I find. Max is like $40 though, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Where possible try to find an independent florist not one of those sites you find on top 3 hits of google when googling ‘florist Victoria’ - the top hits are usually like ‘marketplace’ style setups where they farm out orders to whoever is lowest bidder

  • Inc or excluding delivery?

There will be someone there selling flowers for $100.

    • Yep, 1 rose. Only place more expensive is the hospital florist.

Deep Blue Florist. Outside Woolworths at The Glen Shopping Centre in Glen Waverley.

Contact local florist and state your budget. Any decent florist will be able to arrange something to order and it will be much nicer than a supermarket.
Otherwise I'd consider online, like Daily Blooms.

How many local florists have you tried?

Does it need to be flowers - how about something they can keep?

When our daughter graduated nursing, we found a couple of lovely pandora charms - one was a stethoscope and the other a degree scroll.

I agree. It's very cumbersome carrying a bunch of flowers around all day and it will soon be gone.

Flowers really are a luxury item. I used to think “why do women like flowers so much? They just end up dying after a week” but it’s actually quite nice to have a bouquet of flowers on display in a vase and watch them flower over the course of a few days.

        • I don't get the appeal of them myself. Whenever my ex did something wrong, he would buy me video games instead of flowers.

I agree with that. I would prefer an engraved pen or something similar. The flowers are dead and gone within a week. Seems a colossal waste of money.

Don't buy cut flowers - find out the graduate's favourite flower & get a potted version.
