Anyone bought from this mob before? are they reputable?

Interested in the same thing, lots of bad stories on whirlpool and here, but they have the best price for me to get a HTC One X and S, since kogan doesn't stock the S at all.

      • Bought my Nexus from them and it was all good. Delivered in 3 business days.

      • If you want to claim warranty or something goes wrong with your order, they provide terrible after sales support

      • It's only a good price if you get what you paid for, and don't need warranty support. The bad reviews are well warranted. If you decide to deal with them anyway, be sure to pay with paypal.

Paypal only cover ebay dont they?

        • No, they don't. The first time I'd ever had to make a paypal claim was when I dealt with this lot, and they sent me and several others a different phone to what we'd ordered. After promising a refund for weeks (after I had to return it at my own cost) it never eventuated. Then they even had the hide to tell paypal they hadn't received it. Fortunately I had an email stating that they had.

    • Bought a camera from them, no probs with delivery and camera is fine!

      • Cameras and phones are 2 different things when it comes to eglobal.

    • purchased many dslr bodies and lenses from them. fast delivery…great price and service. no issues

  • I've purchased separate items inc. dslr body and 2 lens. All arrived sealed within 3 working days. So far so good

  • I guess AU$459.00+ $29.00 shipping - $10 off coupon "CHK10" = $478.00 for Samsung Galaxy Note is a good deal too?

    • DO NOT get a galaxy note without proper warranty. It suffers from an emmc bug (look it up) and has a high chance of bricking on itself. Samsung knows this but hasnt released a public statement, xda forum members have managed to grab a hold of samsung engineers to confirm.

I've Purchased DSLR 7000 before from them ,Faster Delivery… but when ordered S 3 white…very poor experience with mobiles so far..They still got S 3 White 32 GB White, listed on Website . but would not recommend some one to buy , as no expected time for delivery. One of my friend is still waiting the product to be delivered nearly after 1 month after ordering. He was forced to change color or cancel. would advice to check for stock first else complete waste of time.

    • almost bought the s3 32 white today, lucky enough someone post the new colour on s3 and decided to wait. thanks for the info!

      • was about to buy before reading your comment cheers.

also curious about the new colours! anyone know when they will be in stock?

  • very good price for the GNex :)

They have a warehouse in Sydney. If your item isn't in stock at Sydney, they send from HK.
They SAY 12 month warranty, but I've read many reviews and talk to few people. The cake is a lie.

    • If they ship locally, they would have to charge GST.

      • Actually if the transaction is between you and their Hong Kong office, i.e. invoice given to you is from overseas, they don't need to charge GST even if the goods are dispatched from Australia.

They might decide to charge GST though from their Australian entity, if they wish to claim back some of the GST from the expense in their Australia operation.

  • …mmmmm well GNEX2 around the corner…wait till this is $299

  • +1

Naww!! It's too bad I wanted the white one…which ads like another $25 to it.
    Or else I would've gotten one.. =[

Even with GST, local retailers are still overpriced anyway, and this is fair?

Cry me a flapping river Gerry.

    • If they land stock in Australia then they pay GST for the wholesale cost.

    • Is this Gerry Harvey in disguise?

I see an Apple fanboi has negged this bargain, lol.

    • please don't feed the apple fanbois :p

I have this phone and it's awesome :~)

    • I see an Apple fanboi has negged this bargain, lol.

You're kidding, right? I'd highly recommend changing hands for a while. You can get nasty blisters doing that for too long.

I've never even USED an apple phone, let alone owned one.

Sigh people. What for to save a bit money and bear a ton of worries? Is this the spirit of OZBargain? I would say it's stupidity.

  • Price on their site is now $348. Expired?

  • Price is back to $339 but Coupon code is not working.
