Been building a PC over last month or so and the last piece is the CPU
Deciding on either 7700x or 7800x3d but prices seem to be pretty high. Beginning of June there was ebay sales (7700x ~$450, 7800x3d ~$650) but 2 months since then, nothing. Although they are running a Starfield promotion at the moment
Any ideas on when we will see some more price drops?
a pretty substantial raptor lake refresh is expected to launch sometime later in the year - rumours point to october - since meteor lake on desktop is unlikely to come anytime soon, if at all. perhaps we can expect some sales around then?
