How to Mount PS5 under Desk

I have just got a new standing desk and want to put the PS5 under the desk. I was surprised at how little there seems to be online about this. There are just a handful of products I can see and they all seem to be over priced for that they are: on Amazon,
Monzlteck Under Desk Holder for PS5 https://amzn.asia/d/5Ei2Y1T is $58 for essentially 2 bits of metal and a few screws, elsewhere is similar, nothing under $40, which seems a lot.

Is their a good way to secure my PS5 under the desk without breaking the bank?

Has anyone here done it? I'm not much into DIY but I'm against paying $50 for two bits of metal on principle so am considering maybe some hooks from Bunnings etc.
Any advice appreciated.

Yeah well, then you don't have any alternatives but to either buy an under desk mount or put your ps5 on top of the desk.

Not pretty but you'd likely find things like this that would fit, and require 0 DIY skills
Add some diy hackery to make it not loop on top of desk if needed

Reason why "how little there seems to be online about this" is because there not alot of demand for a console to be fitted under a desk.

And even then, you need to find a way to secure the PS5 on those brackets

  Or the other option is finding U brackets (like the one you linked) instead of L brackets and you can mount it where ever you want under the table top. I couldn't find any U brackets with enough gap in between the arms hold the ps5 but I am sure it's out there for a cheap price.

a steel custom job from a fabricator might potentially cost more than $50 for something like the original one you posted.

However, I will admit, it does have a certain elegance to it.

  Agreed - I have used a similar product for all of my desk undermounting. Easy to bend and shorten to length, plenty strong, and easy to move around later if you change your set up.
