Recommend Me a 10kg (+) Washing Machine (Front Load)

10kg Washing machine died this morning….

We do a lot of washing with a relatively active small family, large pets getting muddy ect so looking to stay the same size (or more) I absolutely dont know washing machines besides the KG load ratings and that we need a front load, anybody got a recommendation?
We have a hot water fitting although old unit was just heating the cold water

budget ideally is $1000 or less although will spend more for something that will save me money in the long run (or less if we dont need to spend that much)

  • Most washing machines available these days will heat up the water as required. I bought a 10kg Bosch last year (WAX32M41AU) and am quite happy with it so far.

  • I picked up a Beko 10KG (BFL104ADW) about 6 months ago and it's been a great washing machine. I don't have much experience with other front load as I've only used top before this one. It looks like Appliance Central has it a lot cheaper than anywhere else so you may be able to price match.

Pretty happy with our new LG machine (though it is just the 9kg model - WV9-1409). The last LG washing machine we had went for over 15 years - and you could still get parts for it when I retired it. I replaced the door seal big rubber gasket once having developed a rip. The main thing is not to overload them.

I don't know about putting muddy and heavily soiled clothing through it though.

    Don't buy a Samsung.

LG has a 10KG washer that's pretty good. Parents have one that's about 10 years old now (0 issues in that time), and looks to be largely the same as the one listed on any of TGG, JB, HN.
Most are ~1100 or so. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/lg-wv5-1410w-10kg-series-…

Don't over load it. Probs better off doing a couple of smaller washes than 1 big wash each time. Having a larger capacity machine gives you some headroom on that front.
