  • Great price for any high quality external light fitting!,
let alone one with zigbee based smarts!

I'd be sorely tempted to order a bunch but credit card's maxed out right now

  • Thanks OP. Picked up 2 more to add to the 5 I got during prime day

    • nice work! what did you get them for at prime day? i haven't seen them any lower than ~140 ever…

      • $158, I figured wasn't bad and I needed them, have had wires sticking out the wall for nearly 2 years now 😂

      • I bought it at prime day $138.75 last year

  • Got one too, just waiting for the up/down wall lights to go on sale to complete the full outdoor setup.

    • I’m also after up/down lights
Can you share a link and target price?
I got these impress ones 2 years ago but returned them because they didn’t go well with the house design (I needed something in silver with up/down light projection)

    • Me too

  • I looked at these previously, but ended up buying these instead: https://www.amazon.com.au/Philips-Hue-Ambiance-Assistant-Hom…
Sparkie install cost a fortune but the lights are very nice.

Note: If you don't want dead bugs ending up inside the glass you need to silicone the gap between the light and the wall. Also use small squares of sealing tape to cover the small holes on each side of the glass.

  • I notice it's only rated IP44 - would they last if put outside without any cover? Really keen to get some for the back of the house but worried about the waterproofing

    • Yes - IP44 should be good as long as you are not jet washing it.

I have a bunch of these. Very good built - Hue as usual.

Not as bright as they make you believe they are.

Most irritatingly I bought 2 and signed up to their newsletter then after I’d purchased there was a 15% off any purchase welcome promo code that came through. Sign up first and wait about 15 minutes before purchasing.

Just an update on this - if you do it first the sign up code takes hours to come through and doesn't work on sale items, so it won't make a difference for this product anyway. It does take 15% off full price items though which in some cases is a reasonable deal.
