Rome totalwar war Remastered. One of my all time favourites and one of the best Total war games.

I've been playing with the old graphics like a chump, but now I am downloading this at a discounted price 😉

Description of what's included is at the link and not too much longer on special. Cheaper than Steam at the moment which is $22 something.

Have fun!

  • Be interested what you think of the new graphics, if they are a significant improvement.

The bigger benefit to me was the way they changed the notifications/event to make it easier to manage your empire without getting bogged down.

Almost finished downloading… I'm hoping it's at least easier to find spies and diplomats…. I always lose them

From a glance I thought it was something to do with Friendly Jordies lol https://events.humanitix.com/a-tale-as-old-as-rome

    • Might be some copyright problems going on there

  • Is this very different/improved vs Rome II? Just trying to work out if it's different enough to justify the purchase

    • I much prefer Rome I, but I wouldn't call it "improved". It doesn't have a lot of the extra fidgety stuff that Rome 2 has like managing policies in regions, and I think it's more focused game because of it. It's the real essence of the Total War series for me — but maybe that's just because it's the first one I put 100 hours into :)

That said, if you already have Rome 2, then maybe one of the other, recent non-Rome ones would be a better purchase, like Shogun 2, Three Kingdoms etc…

It is different, but I like both. I say buy both 😉

      • I was hoping you'd say that :)

Saw the image without reading the title and thought it was a cheap ticket to see a Friendly Jordies show hah

  • Went with Total War Attila: Tyrants and Kings instead to pass the time until the next the WHIII Shadows of Change is released.
