Qatar Flight Upgrade Offers Timing

Hi everyone

For those who have flown Qatar recently and received an offer to upgrade, I have a few questions

How long before the scheduled flight did the upgrade arrive?

Was it an invite to “bid” an amount? Or a set fee? And how long did they give to make a decision?

They are usually quick, less then it takes to get the popcornready.

It's usually a set fee, but be prepared to be disappointed - the upgrades are usually not all that much less than how much it costs to upfare. You won't be getting a $500 upgrade to business for that trip to Europe.
