Input on New PC

I’m looking at getting a new pc and want to get the 4080, 4090 is just too much of a jump up in price for me. I’ve built all my previous computers before but just can’t deal with the hassle and opted to do prebuilt for this.

I’ve found the below pc which I think looks good but needing some input as I’ve been wrong before.

    Input on New PC

    USB4 2.0

  • What input are you looking for? Seems like an overkill build depending on why you want it.

    It's about $3,800 to build yourself: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/YC3c6r

So about $500 extra to get it pre-built and that's not taking into account any cheaper retail parts they can source.

Also the 13900KF does not include integrated graphics so you cannot run the PC without a GPU at any time, which doesn't seem worthwhile for minor price difference. Say you had to exchange GPU due to defect or upgrade in future and waiting for it to arrive via post etc.

What display is this to be paired with? Hopefully something more than a 24" 1080p…

    • I’ve got the DELL 32 inch 4K G3223Q.

Using it for new games on highest settings really so chasing something high end.

Not having dedicated graphics isn’t a big thing for me either but thanks for the heads up.

    • I would question whether you need the 13900K(F)
    • For the money you are getting a budget z790 board, probably a lower end 4080 card (they don't specify which 4080 card -> they will chuck in whichever is the cheapest), likely bad ssd, and also an msi aio (lol)
  • need some input

My input is that your post is low effort, vague and dont worry this computer will suit you perfectly

Mobo is a meh but pass-able.
not the best watercooling either, but I guess fine for day-to-day use
RAM speed is trash (in terms of gaming), also 2dpc (2 dimm per channel) means it'll take forever to do memory training and have poop stability.
unknown PSU (at least ATX 3.0, so I guess it'll be fine)
unknown SSD, and I can put my money down that they used some QLC garbage.
unknown GPU but there's no garbage RTX4080 AFAIK so fine with that.
