Where to Buy Discounted Jaeger-Lecoulture Watches?

Any recommends?

The sites like joma shop I dont trust as they are generally grey market or are not authorised resellers

Don't want buy second hand

  • Jomashop is fine but they don't come with factory warranty, only their own version. Not wanting to buy second hand is going to cost you thousands for no obvious benefit. Monards offered me 15% off as soon as I looked at a Reverso last time I was in there so I'd expect a 20% discount without much effort.

Head over to the Facebook watch groups and you should be able to pick up a virtually new JLC at a massive discount to RRP. With JLC's recent price increases there is absolutely no way any sane person should pay retail for one.

Vintage Watch Co, The Watch Dealers, The Watch Gallery, Luxuria, Zaeger and Swiss Emporium (plus others I forget) are all reputable sellers of used pieces. In the world of luxury watches only a few are worth buying new from a dealer, the rest can be had for much less lightly used.

EDITED for drunken spelling and random poor sentence structure

    • thx for ur comment, ended up getting cartier reverso steel diamond at full rrp :(

    • As a novice in the area, what precauctions could I take when buying second-hand watches. I'm nervous they could fake a certificate

  • Chrono24 has plenty of grey market sellers who will sell you discounted new pieces.

Otherwise Monards have given me 10-20% off watches depending on the model in Melbourne.

did anyone else look up 'Jaeger-Lecoulture' when they read this…..

  • LOL a discount on a brand like JL. What makes you think you'll find 'discounted' new watches from one of the most prestigious watch company's that exist today? They don't need to do sales.

That's like going into a Ferrari dealership and trying to get 30% off.

    Don't want buy second hand

Then you need to buy it new? They don't exactly have an EOFY sale like Target

    • Not sure what you're on about because JLC are discounted quite heavily through most dealers. All you have to do is ask. That's part of the reason why prices are so soft on the secondary market as well.

Don't get me wrong, JLC are a top quality manufacturer, but to say you have to pay RRP because of that is blatantly wrong.

  • +1

I'm based in Sydney - assuming I'd have to negotiate at Watches of Switzerland (which is tough as I had a friend who used to work there and was tough to get any discounts mostly around 5% or select watches when they go on promo).

Looking at this watch in particular JLC Reverso Classic / Duetto - https://www.jaeger-lecoultre.com/au-en/watches/reverso/rever…

    Any tips will be nice.

  • Look to join online watch sale groups on Facebook (AWBSS etc.) and be patient and review seller recommendations or references.
As lovely as JLC are .. unfortunately they really don't seem to have great re-sale value and I often see substantial price reductions on RRP for these re-listed for sale on those pages.

Best of luck with the search - TB
