            @bob98: The last time I price matched JB HiFi to another site (big W) they checked the shipping cost to my address and tried to charge me for that on top of the price match. Little did he know, and luckily for me it was $0.00 shipping. Just some dude trying to scrape in every dollar for his commission I guess?

            Also these headphones are awesome. I purchased them at $560.00 and don't regret a dollar. That said I also purchased Wicked Cushions for $60 bucks.

              @mwoods7: Commission is lost as soon as you price match JB below cost price. They were probably just trying to make the managers happy. Really depends on the JB store and how greedy they are. I've had this with plenty of other stores too with price matches. Supercheap Auto the other day charged me for delivery fee at one store, but at another store they not only didn't factor in the delivery price, but they added an extra dollar discount on it too and said they would "price beat their price beat" HAHA. Got the item for $48 instead of $50 listed on Amazon.

      they likely wont do it. we typically only price match advertised price and not coupon applied prices, even if its generic. it sucks but the salesperson can get in trouble for doing it for you.

          yeah we always do amazon as long as its shipped and sold by amazon AU. we cant do any other seller including intl amazon like US or UK

          I price matched with Amazon earlier today (as in matched @ JB against an Amazon price).

          Amazon flat out won’t price match anything in my experience.

      I had v2 of the Astro A50 and are still some of my favorite headphones I have ever owned. In fact, I loved them so much I didn't want to let them go even after I destroyed them accidentally, and held them together with duct tape.

      All that said, I prefer these SteelSeries and strongly believe they're one of the few competitors on the market that offer a superior wireless experience/comfort.

      The true wireless of these headphones makes them a game changer. Being able to hot-swap a battery and never use a cable again is chefs kiss

      Well on their site says over $79 free shipping. It's not free shipping at all.

      Even looked at all the exclusions.

      Decided to test out just getting something small like memory. Nope not free shipping at all. Rather they remove their advertised as free shipping etc else it bugs people.

    The reviews for these seem to indicate that they’re way overpriced. A hissing mic on $500 headphones is a dealbreaker.

        Comfort and stability score poorly.
        Mic hiss and ANC hiss - on $400 headphones….

        Look at the scores for Treble Accuracy, Peaks/Dips, Passive Soundstage and Virtual Soundstage.

        They score equally overall to the much cheaper Logitech G535. That would make them overpriced.

        I've got a Maxwell and I'm on the verge of returning it because it's mic quality is horrible… Not sure what issue it is but lots of others have it too where it sounds horrible to others on discord/in-game.
