Honestly it feels like 20% isn't even that much of a deal anymore. I've noticed 1L Roku gin prices continue to creep upwards, at the start of the year it was $85, a few months ago it was $88 and now its's $92 and liquorland has the audacity to advertise Roku as 'low price everyday'…

They share the spoils.and blame each other (but mostly blame the govt) for increases.
'low price everyday' is code for 'no more specials on this item'

Hmm Irish Whiskey tends to be sweeter. Tullamore Dew is sweet.
But otherwise the low lands stuff like Oban, Aberlour, Jura, Auchentoshan.
But if you want a cheap & gentle try the Aerstone Sea Cask. Its a bargain at $56.
Personally I like the smokey Land Cask for a mid week dram.
