Okay, one of the FB group member posted this anonymously. Obviously, jealous person initial reaction will say its fake or “photoshopped”. He already uploaded several photos as evidence, and even the monitor screen of his lotto account.

Anyway, as per the title, what is the very first item you will buy if you win this much $$$?

        With power hit you one:
        1. one 1st division prize
        2. 19 2nd division prices

So total win shouldn't be $50M displayed.

A photo like the one provided in OP is super easy to fake:
Right click > dev tools > change prize to 50m and numbers to winning combination > take photo of monitor from phone

      • yeah maybe - so like - he maybe won $5 - then photoshopped the extra zeroes … ? ;-)

50 mill? I'll keep $5m, that's more than enough for the rest of my life, and I'll find 450 decent, hard working families from around the country that are on struggle street and give them $100k each. Even then, that makes me sound greedy.

    • I put my hand up!

Try telling that to all the billionaires in the world

First thing I'd do? Two chicks at the same time man.

    • +2

You only need a million dollars for that though

    • +1

      You're a psycho, that's double homicide.

Edit : sorry, i see what you mean now.

    • That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?

      • what if the hen and rooster were watching ?

Buy the neighbours' houses and leave them empty (adjoining walls - noisy)

  • 2 of the Coles Express coffee machine (I think they're about $25,000 each).
One setup with decaf, one with regular coffee beans.

  • I'll buy one of this https://www.realestate.com.au/news/one-circular-quay-sub-pen… .

Hangon…. I'm actually abit short. Guess I'll mortgage the rest then.

  • I have my own private automated car wash.

Id buy a nice sized property in a nice country town close to the coast. Have it made as self sustainable as possible (solar, batteries, water, septic, animals etc). Id move there and then do my best to only do work i want to do, when and if i wanted to. I would have a lot invested in various places, mostly inflation hedge type things. Id help my close friends and family in meaningful ways. Id get my dog a friend and build and awesome dog area.

As for luxury items id enjoy.. id likely buy an aston martin or something. Probably a music studio with a grand piano, couple of nice guitars, drums..

And then is probably take regular holidays to see the world.

I would use toll roads, they r f.. expensive.

Fyi Even if you post anonymously on Facebook the admins of the group still see who the person is. Well the group I run does anyways. So keep that in mind next time U think about posting anonymously on a FB group

Being about as reckless as the others on here…
$50 million would be great; I'd take the wife and kids to Disneyworld for a week. Think we're close to budget! Might even buy a snack while there!

Renovate mum's kitchen, then… probably design my current ideal home (surprisingly nothing extravagant, there's just a particular layout and space I'm after)

  • Just need a house in a central area of sydney. Nothing too far from Parramatta and Central.

Pay some medical bills for the family and pay for various private medical appointments. New electric and manual wheelchair for a family member too.

Buy a nice yacht to relax on the ocean with.

    • Parramatta is a bum hole to drive in. Chatswood is not that much better but for some reason Parra is worse. Takes like 30 mins just to get outta the city circle which is probably about 2 km radius.

      • Parramatta is a bum hole

        period.

I take the train there for work stuff. I feel like I'm gonna get stabbed there by certain Arab gangsters or the rotten druggos.

You don't need 50 million dollars to do nothin. Take a look at my cousin, he's broke don't do shit

  • After paying off my mortgage (and my sister's), I'd buy really nice houses for my kids in areas they want to live in, a really nice apartment in Queenstown NZ, and an apartment in Colorado and Vancouver so I can go snowboarding all year round.

Then get a financial adviser to invest the rest so I have a monthly amount coming in that is unrealistic and live like a king doing what I love most.

  • life insurance

  • I actually have some respect, tinged with pity for this person.
Beyond a certain threshold of comfort & necessity, all extra money is just for conspicuous consumption i.e. showing off to others.
If you can't win the lottery yourself, why not stir the hornet's nest by posting a fake winning screenshot online?
You don't have the actual money, but you can bask in the envy/ admiration just the same as the real winner.

  • First class tickets to Europe for the family.

When over there, have a good think about where we are going to live for the rest of our lives, what cars we are going to drive and where we are going to invest our money.

Everything else are not the first things we would buy, but things we would buy second or down the track.

  • clear my mortgage and split the winnings in the long term investments and bonds and build a property book

Set aside $45M dollars to put into investments such as:
    - Stocks
    - Property
    - Bank with high interest rate with savings

Never touch the $45M investment and then live off the income those investments produce.

$5M will go towards a new house, car, holidays, yolo spend, friends and family.
