    Just got an artifact, all upgrade went into Crit, 16% Crit rate and 14% Crit damage.

    Just posting here to make other fellow Genshin players jealous.

      If you have not started, don't start. Its exactly what you said plus gambling effect.

      But if you can stay casual, then it got some nice aspects.

      It's a really good game, probably a masterpiece of our time and it's free, but not for everyone. If you got a good control over your finance, I'd say go for it. For those who got no control or has history of gambling addiction, avoid.

      yes. it also has a mechanism that prefers you to play daily (for the ingame premium currency), so it will be both addictive and somewhat repetitive.

      otherwise, play it as a f2p and just treat it akin to an anime style botw

      You can certainly play it with no to minimal investment, and eventually do all content if you slowly build your teams. You will be limited with the number of the rarer 5 star characters you will get, but many of the most powerful characters are 4 star including three of the best.

      Just play it slowly, there is a massive amount of content.

    I have all three… I would go Zhongli. Yelan is fun to play as well. Raiden's burst is a bit too tricky to fully utilise for my liking as a casual player.

      Agree. Yelan is good but annoying to play on mobile. I've got Zhongli at around 55k HP, you can basically put his shield up and stand right next to any enemy and pummel away without taking any damage. Very useful character.

      Zhongli is a massive quality of life improvement. You don't need a healer with him at all, aside from for a few mobs that bypass shields (looking at you doggies)

      I have yelen and raiden fully built, but bench them most of the time

      On my main with a C4R1 yelan, I'm not f2p since it's had 6 welkins. However, my alt is completely f2p and it has a C5R1 itto. It's all about having a goal and self control, not so much to do with how much you spend.

    I stopped playing after Raiden Shogun arc as the islands were difficult for me. I'm f2p and after grinding and try to roll for the perfect set for Ayaka, I couldn't find the interest to do quests anymore. I still redeemed codes occasionally and got Zhongli and Nahida but now I couldn't play them because they are too weak compared to my world level. I can't even farm for their gears as I haven't unlocked that part of the map yet. Big soz

      You can lower the world level if the game is too difficult, also don't forget to level up your talents, weapons and artifacts to the max, you can also pick lower difficulty domain to farm materials or just ask for help in co-op.
