Ozito Fans - Impact Wrench - 3 Speed or not?

Single Speed vs 3 Speed?

Not sure if the 3 speed is worth the extra? Mainly going to use it for car work and to stop breaking Impact Socket Set Adaptors.

Keen to get some feedback. Not sure if I spend the extra $100 or not. I am already in the Ozito ecosystem with pretty much every tool being Ozito (plus a crap load of batteries).

  • 3 speed. It is almost double the torque…

If you are working on suspension or break brake components then get the 3 speed for the extra torque.

If it's just to loosen a few random nuts on occasion then get the single speed.

What torque to you set the lug nuts to on your 4WD?

My single speed can loosen mine set to 110nm but any higher than that I think it would struggle.

My single speed can loosen mine set to 110nm ugga duggas

Can you please use the correct technical term next time?

    • +1 for

      break brake

  • Get the little one, then if you need to crack a hard nut, ride your bike to Bunnings to get the big boy. That's my plan.

I have the single speed gudugaduga.

Works ok, but it does not work on the lug nuts on the landcruiser - or most of the shock absorber/sway bar nuts.

    • Yeah, it's a little helper around the car. The big boy is for parts replacement. I know I will have to get one to do the brakes/shocks etc etc….

      • I am thinking going the bigger one so I have it for future rather than buying twice.

  • Interesting review on the 3 speed saying cheaper one was better
