Q. What is MD-102?
A. MD-102 Overview

Q. Who should be doing this?
A. If you're planning to use Intune to manage your Windows / Mac / Android / iOS iPadOS etc. endpoint devices then MD-102 would be a good starting point.

Q. Why MD-102 and not MD-101 / 100?
A. Exam MD-100 and Exam MD-101 will retire on July 31, 2023. A replacement exam, Exam MD-102: Endpoint Administrator, became available on May 2, 2023.

Q. What would I get after passing the MD-102 exam?
A. Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

    If you have a corporate M365 licence through your workplace you can probably already access MS Learn content

      MS Learn is always free anyway (even with a hotmail / Outlook account).

  Just be aware that the MD-102 is a beta exam. I used my Victorian library card and am able to view the course. The Udemy course isn't that great and only scratches the surface so I'll give this course a try.

      Don't mind me, the course didn't work for my Vic Library card. It only seemed to work for one of the modules.

  LinkedIn Learning access is available through the libraries of most other states/cities. That particular link is for SA, but there are similar for other locations, and they will all provide access to this specific course.

  Many University students will also be able to get a LinkedIn Learning subscription access for free through their Uni.

    Cert will be coming from MS anyway as LinkedIn won't be hosting the MD-102 exams.
