Anyone else notice the Philips 1400lm bulbs losing a lot of their brightness over a years heavy use? They also lose the Daylight white and go a warm yellow.
A few years ago, we got them on half price and replaced all the bulbs in our house. So far, only 1 has is playing up
The warm daylight colour is too yellowish, like 2700K. I like the Mirabella colour more, cool white is 4000K which is perfect for me
4000K is too blue and can disrupt your sleep cycle.
4K Mirabella is a bit of yellow, perfect for living and dining.
I went with 1400 lm, can't remember maybe 14W
If you only need 40watts - screw - then you can get 2 at IKEA for $2.50.
Anyone seen any cheap multipacks of ~1000lm bulbs around? Like 10 packs or so
At $4.30 each and 1055lm, it is brighter and this deal makes it cheaper than the equivalent 806lm ones IKEA used to sell (RYET). Note that this is a basic, non-dimmable, fixed-warmth bulb.
