Prime day sale was the reason I tried this. Now always buy this for my cats
as they eat all of it.
Also this flavour now too.

My kitten only wants this and Whiskas, but Whiskas makes really stinky poop, so Felix it is!
Still trying to get her to take the cheaper Smitten from Woolies by mixing it with Felix. But she knows. SHE KNOWS!

Same price @ Woolies currently ($8.50 per pack).

Makes me think Woolies are tracking Amazon pricing.

Just a note for anyone considering this to ensure you read reviews. Ingredients don't seem to be the highest quality as per https://www.petfoodreviews.com.au/felix-cat-food-review/

    • Thanks for sharing. I thought we are already feeding better than the rock bottom brands like Smitten and Aldi's.

What's the best value brand that you have found?

Anytime! I recently found this blog and have changed our cats' diet, as I realised we weren't giving them what they deserved. I was giving them the cheapest food from woolies :/

As far as what we've switched to - I've gone full Ziwi Peak or Feline Natural. These are much more expensive per kg, but they don't need to eat as much since it's essentially pure meat (and mussels). The ingredients list is so small, and our cats seem happier and have super soft coats. Meaning we're much happier too :D

You can find some deals for both here on ozbargain quite often, which I use to stock up. Fx https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/792637

        Hope this helps!

        • My cat wouldn't accept the switch from Felix to Feline Natural no matter how slow I tried to make the transition :(

          • @Ezio: That's unfortunate!! Maybe when they get older? haha :D

        • Hmmmm…thanks for the sic. May give these a go the next time they go on sale.

I'm starting to think the Felix and Whiskas are like Macca and KFC, which is why my kitten is so enthusiastic about them!
