      Any USB-C charger should charge any USB-C device. There's some spotty coverage for cheaper devices, but a Thinkpad will 100% work.

        Oddly, Lenovo USB Type C chargers don't do 12v
        They'll do 5, 9, 15 and 20.
        Dunno why they skip 12v.

      Don't buy it then? our work uses these chargers and they are fine, stops people unplugging the usb c cable from the charger and taking off with it.

      It has it's uses, just because it doesn't suit YOUR needs doesn't mean it's a stupid design choice.

      Yes, ahve the same charger. The braided cable gives it a nice premium feel compared to the lenovo chargers.
