Saw this today on one of the “special buy” shelves in Coles and marked as while stocks last. Eliminator and Stain removal types available.
2L is on “half price sale” for $12. 2L says for 40 loads, this 3L bottle says for 60 loads so must be same concentration .
Made in Taiwan, I know people rate the made in Japan one but not sure if that’s still around?
Comes up the same price per wash as 2kg dry when it is reduced.
Does that make it a really good deal then?
Depends on how you look at it. I saw this 3L one at Coles about 2 weeks ago for this price, grabbed it first but when I calculated price per wash realised that it is not such a good deal so just put it back on shelf. Those regular 1/2 price deals make you wonder: is the half price the normal price and the other one inflated?.. I think for this one the dry even came a tine bit cheaper per wash. You need to use a lot more of the liquid one.
This price is actually decent considering it’s equal to 60 washes vs 40 on the other Japan version. Usually only see the Japan one for about $12 or $13 a bottle on special no way worth full price of $26 that coles claim it to be
What would the difference be between the Japan and Taiwan version? Just checked an old bottle I had laying around and it's made in Taiwan (2l, bought from Amazon earlier this year)
I have seen people discussing the made in japan one that was available more in the past having differences that made it better .. not sure so don’t quote me :) i haven’t noticed a difference personally
