Looking for Sub $200 Home Bluetooth Speaker

Looking for a good enough home bluetooth speaker sub $200. Will primarily be used for background music in the evenings.

Sonos is obv super expensive and prob beyond what I need.

Anyone have any experience with the Harmon kardon citation one mk2 (Costco $140) or the symfonisk bookshelf speaker from IKEA ($160). Sceptical of ikea but apparently a collab with sonos.

There's so many out there's it's hard to know where the good value is

symfonisk bookshelf speaker from IKEA ($160)

Lol. Keep trying. Almost certain symonfisk is not Bluetooth just like a lot of Sonos products.

  • Anker soundcore boost

  • Had one of these for a few years and still going well, sounds nice too.

Also got the UE Megaboom 3 and it's not bad either, even spent the night in the toilet bowl after falling off the shelf but still works fine.

Pretty sure both were under $200 at the time.

  • Why does it have to be Bluetooth?
The Sonos and IKEA Sonos (SYMFONISK) speakers use wifi to connect and have the streaming apps on the speakers to play music you just control from the Sonos app. You can add more speakers over time in different places and they will sync.
If you have an iPhone you can airplay to the speaker to play what we you’re phone is playing but I hardly ever use that since it will also play any audio coming from my phone (like a video or something that someone shares from social media) interrupting the music streaming. This would also happen with Bluetooth.
Using the Sonos app the speaker will also keep playing if I leave and come back to the house because it’s playing from the speaker not my phone.
