    Read the specifications and they appear speed unlocked, for both scooters and the midget eBike. With such large batteries the range didn't calculate for 25km/h limited unit:

    " Max Speed 28 mph (45 km/h) on private property ONLY - Range 13-16 miles (20-25 km)"
    " Max speed 30 mph (48 km/h) - Mileage 22-28 miles (35-45 km)"
