13600k - Best Time While Afterpay Day Is on?

Hi everyone, I haven't used this function before so forgive me in advance if inappropriate..

Slowly piecing together an ITX build and just have CPU and GPU to go. I held off until today hoping something might pop up during the AfterPay sales but going off StaticIce and these forums, I'm not sure if I should hold off a little longer…

I'm chasing a 13600k and prices are all over the place. Best deals through eBay seems to $458.15 from a non-pc store and $475.15 though a well-known shop using discount codes. I'd prefer to buy from Amazon but they are up around the $500 mark.

Could someone point me in the right direction or provide some advice to a novice bargain hunter please?

Thank you!!

it is cheaper than $475.15 at computer stores directly without using ebay

    ex: $469

    • $458 seems to be where I hit the lowest. I guess I’m disappointed that I missed some earlier deals where it went down to around the $430 mark and don’t want to kick myself for buying now if they’re about to drop with 14th gen around the corner.

Been in the same boat all eBay deals have been jacked and just cheaper to buy instore, I ended up getting the 13500 for now on a Z690 DDR board for $229 and 32gb DDR6000 for $150 so happy with my setup.

Tried to get a 13600k off market place for $370 but the guy was a flog and kept ghosting me opted for the 13500 due to the 65w TDP which is plenty fast for games.

    • 2 years ago, I got 5600x for $335, B550m Motherboard $85 and 32GB DDR4 for $170 during Afterpay sales from EBAY. Now these deals are pretty useless as it seems.
