Skinny Suit Pants - Where to Go? (under $130)

Thought I'd find it easy to find skinny suit pants given its the go to these days but everywhere I went staff couldn't find me anything that fitted right- went to YD, Tarocash, Myer and couldn't find a thing, the staff were all friendly enough but found it strange how I couldn't find anything. My legs are skinny, yet all the 'skinny' fit pants were baggy and would be baggy on the average person too, even more baffling wanting $120 for them. So where do people shop to get decent fitting suit pants? any help would be appreciated. I've googled and ASOS seem like the best bet but might not arrive on time, then all the rest come up with stores I've already been to

  • Usually YD and Connor has skinny suit pants, I went to a wedding 5 months ago and found some in Connor.

    Connor skinny fit: https://www.connor.com.au/au/suits/suit-dress-pants/?feature…
    YD skinny fit: https://www.yd.com.au/au/bottoms/dress-pants?feature_fit%5Bf…

    • Went to YD and the dude had me try on what was meant to be their skinniest fit in 2 different waist sizes and it was still baggy. Might give Connor another crack but not a big fan of the large crease through the middle of them like this- https://www.connor.com.au/au/light-grey-diamond-skinny-stret…

You must have quite skinny legs if you feel they are too baggy? Or maybe they do look good on you but you feel it's baggy? Dress skinny pants shouldn't be leg hugging tight on you.

I am 176cm, 70kgs, 30" waist but usually 30" length pants suits me and skinny dress pants are somewhat hugs my thighs and calves but I do know I don't have skinny legs or big chunky legs.

Also the crease can be ironed out.

Do you have a picture of your legs with the skinny pants on? Maybe show us? Maybe it does fit you well but you're not seeing it?

I know I wore pants that I thought I look good in and when I saw pics of me in them, I cringed and put them in the salvos bin lol and funny enough I had clothing I thought I look bad in but I look good in from feedback.

        • 188 cm 63kg 30" waist- I'm skinny asf w skinny legs, closest I came to finding a pair in YD was black chinos which we both agreed could be worn with a suit but the price was crazy ($130) for what they were and still weren't sitting right. I'll go to Connor tomorrow, if they've improved their stuff since last time will buy em and get them tailored.

Thinking about trying a pair of these but reviews seem fake

@toblerone21: Ah I can imagine your build.

The other option is to purchase super skinny pants/chinos but the only place I know that sells super skinny is ASOS and ASOS like stores like boohoo man and the quality is a gamble but the fit may be great for you but I wouldn't go down that route cause it's alot of time and testing.

I've seen Kojo once but I wouldn't gamble on it.

As the other user suggested if it's still too baggy to your liking, get it tailored, I recon get Connor pants and get it tailored, prob setting you back around $30 to $50 to make it more skinny.

    Get them tailored.

Also suit pants aren't meant to fit like skinny jeans.

    • True, although not sure these places should be claiming 'skinny fit' when they are fitting like regular pants. I'm getting my shirt tailored so I guess if I run out of options may as well

      • they are skinny fit. you just want an even skinnier fit.

      • Find one of those Asian shops that has all sewing machines and clothes and stuff in a low rent area, they'll tailor a bunch of clothes cheap.

      Get them tailored.

      Swiftly ?

  • Next?

  • Try Uniqlo.

Asos skinny is really skinny. I think they have a skinnier skin tight version as well. Quality is so-so, price is pretty cheap

Asos works for me. But if you do go skinny choose a reputable brand, be prepared to pay more and select wool or other quality fabric. I've had good success this way.
