Best Deals for a Knock off Ooni/Gozney Pizza Oven?

There's a couple great prices on some knock offs but they're all the normal price and I'm not really sure which one to go for. Specifically after the a Gas one, just cheaper and easy, I'm all about easiest possible for this.

https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-portable-pizza-oven_p043… - $199 Cheapest of the bunch, looks quite good?

Looking to stay under $300, as once you get to the $399+ may as well get an ooni on sale

Also any recommendations on Peels? Are the cheaper ones just as good or worth paying a bit more ?

I have an Ooni Koda 16 (back before cheap alternatives were so prevalent), but that kegland one for the price is likely a pretty decent option for the budget you mention
the fact their videos show you through it means there's at least some confidence in what it does vs some of the alternatives.

As for peels, perforated peel and turning peel from aliexpress work fine for me. Identical to the ones kegland has listed also

I’m a total amateur but noticed this new cheapo model at Bunnings the other day that actually looked pretty decent for the money https://www.bunnings.com.au/jumbuck-portable-pizza-oven_p043…

No idea if they’re in the same ballpark as the ooni/Gozney tho

    • Ah yes that's one I forgot too, reviews seem good on it and looks the goods too.

I can confirm this oven is exceptional value and quality - A MUST BUY

Spotted them at 3 different Bunnings stores over the weekend so it's safe to say Bunno have gone hard to capture the portable pizza market this season.

All accessories are included and the fire box retains head very well. Just make sure you have an updated gas bottle because this unit is supplied with the new regulator.

Did you buy one? It does look the goods and everything is included is a huge bonus.

          • @SuBw00FeR: I got one, used it over the weekend

Does the job very well, easily got over 400 degrees, pizzas cooked within minutes, everyone was surprised!

@spackbace: Awesome to hear, looks like it'll be the way to go once I commit :)

    • Hmm that looks tempting

  • Not sure if the Aldi one is any good, but it was on clearance for $99 at my local yesterday.

      • Yeah something like that I think, I didn't really look at it but it was that sort of size.

I wouldn't get the gas one if you are in VIC.

Won't be long before Dan bans all gas sales in the state.

  • can vouch for the BBQs galore Arrosto, at $296 its good if it goes back in stock. No idea if its $100 better than the Bunnings one though

    • Ah yes forgot about this one, cheers, so many choices !

  • Worry more about your dough than the oven. Good flour, semolina, get a wood peel for launching, metal peel for retrieving. Enjoy.

      Very true re dough quality

The Jumbuck Pizza oven from Bunnings is by far the best deal currently on offer. I purchased a unit two weeks ago and have been super impressed with the cooking quality.

Everything from unboxing through to quality of the accessories is great value. I noticed the pizza cutter is the exact same as the Ooni accessory ($49.00) and the Aluminium pizza peal works a treat.

    • Awesome thanks for the info! :)

    • how hot does it get underneath? just wondering about what you can put it on to use it?

The Kegland product is superior, the 14" is far better than a 12", the extra $100 is peanuts for what you are getting (extra 2")

  • Reading some reviews, it seems the more Oozi/Gozney are more beginner friendly due to more height

  • Got the bunnings one and it's fantastic.
