              Maybe their policy is changing. Possibly depends on who you get on which day, and what you tell them.

      Yes, theoretically it cannot, but if you reach out to customer service via chat, they will do it for you.

  So buy $2 optus sim, port to optus keep number then once activated port back into the starter kit of boost and keep number?

  Boost keep up the 365 day price every year, i dont even use half the data .
