    Just ordered!

  • Can this be used as recharge for existing customer by requesting customer care ?

    • I’ve never done it but have ordered one to do the same so hopefully it all goes well with Support.

      • Please update us if it still works.
Last year I tried and it worked.

      • Unless you get lucky via "Live Chat" need to port out and back in.

        • Just bought one, hopefully, can use it to recharge through customer support.

@Utsav23: If not pretty easy to get a $2 sim and port twice.

@ozhunter68: Can confirm that I was able to recharge via Chat

              • @Liski: Good result for you in this case, but keep in mind they do not always do this according to many others.

Maybe their policy is changing. Possibly depends on who you get on which day, and what you tell them.

@ozhunter68: Agreed. It took the second rep to do it as the first wouldn’t budge.

    • I have done that in past through live chat with customer support.

The ebay Ad says “ Starter kit cannot be used for recharge”

      • Yes, theoretically it cannot, but if you reach out to customer service via chat, they will do it for you.

    • Depends on the customer service staff you get in touch with. I tried twice. First call…No can do blah blah blah… 2nd call… we dont but we’ll do it for you this time. In short ymmv

      • Yes offlate, it's like a hit n miss. Depends on the customer rep.

  • So buy $2 optus sim, port to optus keep number then once activated port back into the starter kit of boost and keep number?

Boost keep up the 365 day price every year, i dont even use half the data .
