Lounges at Perth International Airport on Citilink Flight

We’re flying on Citilink and it appears the only lounge at Perth International Airport (other than Virgin and Qantas which you need to be flying with them) is the Aspire Lounge International Terminal 1. The price is quiet high, especially for an OzBargainer, but happy to pay if it doesn’t start at $77 per person. Does anyone know of any other options at Perth International Airport with lounge access?

If you were a real ozbargainer, you would take advantage of the free leather sofas in Perth airport and bring in clearance items goods from Spudshed and other food/drink items that were heavily discounted to make it feel you're at an airport lounge. There are even free showers in Perth airport.

Ah good call haha I love a good bargain but I dont drive too far to get discounts. Not only is my time more valuable but I also consider the environmentally impacts when chasing a bargain. The way I see it we all should be doing that so I try to encourage the next generation to think like that. Anyway enough of that side tangent haha Any other suggestions for a longe?

  • is this airline pronounced with the "ch" sound as per bahasa indonesia

    • Great question, I have no idea but I always pronounce Canggu wrong so I’m not the one to ask haha

    • Ah sweet good to know thanks. If we were there for longer it would be worth it but not for a couple of hours. Yeah it opens at 4am and our flight is at 7:30am but we get there early to be safe.

    • it's $66

So its about the same price as a bitter coffee and stale horrific toastie from the one food place that’s always open there.
      Good to know. 😂

Good call, that place is below average and you forgot about the long wait times. Although that’s a given as there is nothing else available. It’s sad that we are so busy now (compared to years ago) but it still takes a long time to provide more options, generally speaking.

Lounges are nice and all, but do you really need to go to the lounge before your flight?

@ $66/77/pp you can buy a lot of overpriced airport food and drinks.

    • Yeah agreed, just thought there might be some cheaper options but sounds like that is the going rate and as usual not ouch available in Perth.

      • Doesn't look to be much in Perth, so have to work out if its really worth the dollars to you. You said its a morning flight, so doubt you are going to be hammered at 6am!

        • Yeah it’s not worth it at that price. Was hoping there was a cheaper option or a way to use frequent Flyer points if that is even an option.
