  • Bargain.. or advertisment?

    • +3

I see no reason why this isn't a bargain, I mean, there may be games in the list which people may want, and with the following deals, i see no reason as not being a deal.

Gold Pack: 9 games $8.99 ($1 per game)
Silver Pack: 6 games $6.99 ($~1.16 per game)
Bronze Pack: 3 games $3.99 (~$1.33 per game)

      • Okay.. I see your point. But I'm more talking about how the title describes no bargain of any kind ("GamersGate: IndieFort Bundle") - it just says what the item is. Then the description itself leads straight into some kind of "vote for" promotion.

As for the bundle prices at the bottom of the description part - how much are their Gold/Silver/Bronze packs normally going for? How much percent saving is it from what they're usually priced at? Hence my query of whether it's an advert.

        • The bundle packs are a limited time offer. The normal price is the individual price of all games so if the ones listed are of interest it represents quite a saving as prices range from $4.99 to $24.99 each.

I see. This listing describes none of that. How was I to know? Lol… ~reluctantly hands in my OzB Deputy Sheriff badge~

Its defo a bargain but I agree with Flippant, more detail in the title would be better. "GamersGate: IndieFort Bundle, mix and match games for up to 80% off" or something similar - I dont know the saving but you could work it out I guess.

It's definitely a valid bargain as they're cheaper than you can otherwise purchase them for. Whether they're good value is another story…

Does anyone else worry that the low prices of indie games is slowly going to drive down their quality, encouraging indie developers to do much the same as larger developers and go with known quantities to drive a profit, as opposed to the original ideas that brought us to increasing support for indie developers in the first place?

  • Sorry for the poor title guys. I posted before heading to bed having been awake for some 24+ hours straight. Not all of the great sales at GamersGate get posted here so I wanted to make sure people knew about their sale before bed.

I made the amendment with leemako's title.

  • AirBuccaneers HD is definitely worth the $4 on its own.
