I would never buy FXD ever again after i went through 4 pairs of pants ripping behind the knee. The material has no rip stop properties so any tear will likely expand quickly. For me they would tear open in 1hr of wear. The needle punch holes seemed to be the problem for me.

On the up side they did replace them quickly and sent extra pants so A+ for customer service. Just not worth the waste of time for me.

    • they aren't work-wear, they're a fashion statement

    • I recommend Mascot workwear. They are pretty expensive but awesome quality… I've been wearing the same 2 pairs (5 days a week) for nearly 3 years now (purchased 8th October 2020 looking at my order). I've just ordered 2 new pairs as my current ones are looking a bit drab, but there are no rips/tears in them.

"log in to see price" what kind of bullshit is that?

    • +4

The kind that stops me even considering buying anything from them
      Computer says nnnnoooooo….

  • https://www.target.com.au/b/graphite I get my pants/shorts from target heaps better value and they last longer than these crap..

    • The Target gear is good. Better quality and fit than Tradie brand, and cheaper.

"simple 1 step login to view pricing."

You know what's simpler than 1 step login to view pricing? Just put the price there, simple.

Fine, but only if you subscribe to our mailing list first. Thanks, now please complete this quick 30 minute survey to view pricing. Wow, you're dedicated, here's a full screen popup chatbot you can't close to assist you in not purchasing a product.
I see you're trying to leave the website, you should subscribe to our mailing list (again) to get 0.5% off the prices you can't see.
Thought you should know, someone in Byron Bay just purchased a t-shirt. Now someone in Sydney has purchased BMW branded sunglasses. Did you still want to shop? Fill out another survey to let us know why. REFER A FRIEND TODAY!

  • Yeah look I was keen to do a big order for work but if you are going to lock prices behind an account wall I am not playing that game. Anti consumer behaviour aint cool man, we are purchasing your products, make it easier for us not harder. Can almost guarantee a barrage of spam mail upon signing up when they pull stunts like that.

Also $275 spend for free delivery? Whats the point in even offering it at that price, I have never seen a clothing company have such a high threshold for free shipping.

    • nah man

you don't have to shop or sign up if you don't agree with their practices
but to go out of your way to "hinder" their business because their policies do not align with you opinion, is a weird entitled behaviour

They can ask for the details that they do, you can refuse your interest in their business, no need to act precious like that.

      • -1

I didn't hinder anything, I downvoted for not being upfront with pricing its as simple as that.

No one asked for your opinion either but here we are, time to put the big boy pants on and realise not everyone agrees with your line of thinking.

        • someone woke up angry
          lol

          yeah no dw about me
funny you talk about being big boy yet having a fit

this is a common practice for Business suppliers, they're not a retail chain

must've been stuck in some cave 🥰🫶

@The Milk Man: I cannot change the tone in which you read my comments, but I am not even slightly angry, why would I be? I stand by my opinion, hiding prices behind account creation is anti consumer behaviour. If the OP wants to advertise on ozbargain they should be making it consumer friendly, if they are B2B then ozbargain is not the website for them.

Pick whichever excuse you wish, if its B2B then it shouldnt be on ozbargain, if its not then the price should be listed. Simple as.

  • Hi everyone, we get it that you want to see pricing, and the frustrations you have, but we are focused on B2B. We simply are overstocked on some popular FXD lines & are offering a substancial discount to the good people of Ozb.

We want to clarify we arent a hardcore marketing style company that will hound you for the rest of your days. At absolute worst, your email address gets added to our database & you get 1 marketing email a month, if you wish to unsubscribe, you are more then free to & you dont hear from us again. We dont have a massivly sophisticated CRM that does what you may be expecting. If you really want to get a bargain & prefer not pass on your details, fee free to call us or DM me & we can process your order that way.

If you just want to know any prices, let me know & ill post them, then you can deceide if you want to purchase.

    Cheers.

None of what you have said is a valid excuse for not displaying prices.

      • +1

Their explanation was provided, they are a B2B operation

        • -2

If they are a B2B operation then they shouldn't be advertising on ozbargain - last time I checked this website was for end users not businesses.

So you can pick your poison - either they are B2B, in that case they shouldn't be posting here, or they are not, in which case they should be displaying their prices without requiring an account to access them.

  • What’s B2B?

    • Acronym for Business to Business
      alternatively, B2C is to Customer
      B2D is to door

usually used in logistics to describe a service

  • Hi Downvoter,

Business-to-business. Meaning we focus on selling to companies, not so much one off individuals as such. In saying that, we dont limit anyone from from purchasing off us instore or on-line, hence this post.

I know what business to business means chief. I also have a username and you can also respond Timmy comment.

As mentioned. If you are B2B then you shouldn’t be posting here, if you’re selling to the end user then great, time to list your prices like any other retailer on the planet.
