How do I get access to commbank rewards?
Commbank awards credit card.
This is false, to access commbank rewards, you need to have either:
1) Everyday Account Smart Access; and/or
2) Pensioner Security Account; and/or
3) Cash Investment Account
This is to access their debit mastercard which is required to make the relevant purchase and receive the tracking once said reward is activated.

I only have a transaction account with them and can see the "Rewards" option in the app, so my take is any account should be eligible for Commbank Rewards.

It might be only certain accounts then because other family members with transaction accounts with debit cards definitely do not have rewards available in the app.
Can vouch, I only have everyday transaction account and can access their rewards, although I've with CBA for more than a decade
As always, I never get anything good from their rewards program, unless you like Brookfarm or endota (I certainly don't).
I just used to get these at the start and now every time I go to rewards I got “we are working on new offers for you”.
