My pick of the sale

The lightweight and scratch-resistant Super Titanium case of the Promaster Dive Automatic NB6021-68L is complemented with a blue dial featuring embossed hands and a classic green luminous for a vintage feel, a rotating elapsed-time bezel, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal face. A silver-tone Super Titanium™ bracelet is the perfect finishing touch for this advanced timepiece.

This advanced timepiece with automatic movement features enhanced magnetic resistance to protect against external magnetic fields, as well as a 42-hour power reserve. This high-performance watch is ISO compliant and water resistant to 200 meters. Caliber number 9051.

The new Cal. 9051 movement uses anti-magnetic materials for the balance spring and surrounding components to boost the overall magnetic resistance of the watch. This new model is capable of maintaining performance even when placed 1 centimeter from a device emitting a magnetic field of 16,000 A/m. The watch is also resistant to magnetic fields from everyday devices, including smartphones, and it can even be used aboard ships with magnetic compasses. In addition to magnetic resistance, the watch also has ISO compliant*2 water resistance up to 200 meters. It can run for 42 hours when fully wound, with daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds – solid performance for a mechanical watch. The hour hand, minute hand, and indexes have a luminescent coating to ensure high visibility.

What we Love: This is the complete dive watch and one for the collectors.

Price is $685. Picked mine up last week for same price to add to my collection, very nice! Hasn't left my wrist for 3 days now and currently running at +1/2sec per day, love the titanium, it's like I'm wearing nothing at all —> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKTXq2VQ09s

Thanks fixed. I bought this watch last week but won't be seeing it until late October.

How do you like the microadjustments?

      • +1

        Nice purchase.

I noticed adjusting it one notch over the course of a day, if required, fairly simple on the fly. Re-sizing the links is a bit of a pain since it's a pin/collar system, but only need to do it once.

    • 😂😂😂 flanders good one

  • Hugely inflated RRP. RRP in Japan is around $800 so yes it is cheaper here but only slightly.

    • +1

All the prices are inflated. I think I paid 800 for the new Seiko speedy, but the RRP is a joke

Any car lovers click this because they saw "Fujitsubo"?

    • Actually clicked trying to find somebody who knows the car reference. I actually had a fujitsubo jasma muffler installed in my first car years ago. lol

    Nice watch..
    50mm lug-lug.

PS. Agree, never pay much attention to the RRP.

    • +2

I actually had 2nd thoughts about that before getting it. 50mm (due to male end links), but it actually wears smaller. Actual L2L is about 48mm, and the ends are curved down, so sits well.

      • +2

That's lucky. Helps if turned down and males, but i tend to try and keep it under 48mm (less is better like the Steeldive)

The 45mm Bulova Lunar Pilot 96B251 seemed like an ok buy as well.

    • The current weekend flash sale is higher than previous best prices (per Ozb history).
I'm not sure if I want the leather or the steel strap, so have been holding off.

      • Yeah - I checked camelx3 and it's dropped down to $399 a few times in the last 6 months.

If I was going to grab one, I'd grab the newer mini in blue/cream but they're never cheap because they're so popular.

      • To be sure, it is a nice leather strap, with that parquetry patterning. And it is more fitting in with the lunar theme, with hints of spacesuit webbing. Ok, that might be a stretch, but I still think it suits the vibe of the watch.

The steel bracelet is ho hum in comparison.

I like the Fujitsubo, but the NB6025-59H is the one I want.

    • That's nice. Rarely see grey

I wanna pull the trigger but I don’t have a trigger to pull… been wanting this watch Op.

    • Just look/wait for an eco-drive or one with 80h power reserve IMO.

      • yeah changed my minds due to build finishing…quite disappointing build. spec wise is good but under deliver from citizen.

        • Well it's still a citizen at the end of the day (el which are usually fine up to a price).

Plenty to choose from these days.
