So I went to 2 JB stores today, Southland & Chadstone.
Went to Southland first, didnt see the game, whatever I knew I was going to go to Chaddy after, would check if they had it.
Went there and asked the guy if they had any copies and he is like they never actually received any stock in, and that they're expecting 1 copy next week.
Seems to be showing as out of stock at JB/EB/BIG W
Did stores just misjudge the demand? Or shipment got messed up?

It was definitely niche in the past but FROM have turned into a top tier developer and have become very popular thanks to Souls, Elden Ring, Sekiro etc so I would have thought there would have been a bit more push from retailers for this title.
Kinda standard for Bandai Namco titles in Aus. They never seem to send enough physical copies of their games here so sells out quick if you haven't pre-ordered. At least they do unlike Nacon and other publishers I guess.
There are copies available across EB Games NSW. Amazon will deliver it on Tuesday.
It's probably also publishers pushing digital format by just not providing physical copies for sale…

I ended up buying it on 2Game for a Steam code at $78.56. Not bad overall.
Well interesting. Low stocks likely. Lucky I got mine from Amazon AU for $75 that I pre-ordered early this year. Now $99 & available right now.
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster (published by Bandai Namco) is coming out next month that I pre-ordered months ago but then currently unavailable. Sounds like maybe my preorder will get cancelled.

So annoying, was gonna use my birthday coupon for jb hifi and they just removed it from the website….. Eb game seems to have more stuck now but without price matching I wouldn't buy from them.
If you’re talking the ps5 version it’s showing as delivery online only when doing stock check?
Also unless I’ve been living under a rock this is a super niche franchise ?
