    apparently prizes from banks have to be declared to the ato. promoter is network ten. sponsor is anz. i wonder if it is taxable?

      I think it's only taxable if it's income from your own bank, but I am very green on financial knowledge generally.

        In this instance though I suspect not taxable as the money is clearly from Ten - ANZ are the sponsor only in this scenario. Not a tax accountant obviously, when one of us wins we can confirm!
