GoGet Vs Uber Ride Share

I have used Goget in the past instead of the expensive removalists, now I need something again since will be relocating.had a fabulous experience with Goge tmany cars available close by and charged on the hourly rate or per day whatever suits your needs.

now looking at uber ride share is it any good? Havnt heard anything positive also uber has a bad track record with the company so in comparison which is better or cheaper and more reliable?

No I didnot answer which is cheaper, more user friendly and has more cars in the market. I prefer the cheapest and best overall, just much negative feedback with uber itself as a company, but not with uber share.

      • It would help if you could write clearly. Because it looked like you were comparing Goget with normal Uber rides.

It's Uber Car Share, not Ride Share.

Uber Car Share is private cars scattered around different addresses, so your experience is going to be luck of the draw. I've used both, both have been fine for me. But might be totally different based on your location.

iirc minimum time for a Goget van is 2 hours. It can be 1 hour with Uber. Goget requires an annual or monthly sub.

I prefer the cheapest and best overall,

These are usually conflicting criteria. If you want cheapest, just bang your dates and times into the phone apps.

  • They can all GO Get…..

  • Which is better choice or cheaper depends on your specific factors. Location, date, timing, duration, size needs etc all affect the price. We can't tell you what's best for your specific use case. Compare the two and decide which one you prefer to go for.

  • I hired a Hertz van for about $70 for 24 hours. Let me have some breathing room compared to hiring it by the hour from Bunnings.

  • UberCarShare app is better. Insurance as well. Don't know enough to comment on pricing.

    • It has "insurance", it's not a real insurance policy, more a group fund that will hopefully fix any damage. Although at the moment it seems geared toward screwing over the owner of the car and not the person renting it.

I've used uber car share a couple of times, the price is set by the users so you need to look at what cars are around you and the prices they have set, then compare to go get.

I found it a lot more convenient as there is a large van right now my house that's reasonably priced, and the closest go get van is about 15-20 minutes away. So it comes down to your specific scenario. I dunno why you'd change from GoGet if you've had a great experience though, I'd much rather deal with them than both the useless Uber support and a pissed off van owner who finds out their car wasn't really insured. That's worth a few bucks.

  • Ubercarshare often has $200 voucher for 1st time users and all fuel costs are reimbursed.

    • Really? I tried all the codes says expired, which code are working for the $200 or $250 at the moment?

  • you need to watch out for uber's surge pricing - weekends are inflated compared to week days

Uber car share is better i think as it includes private cars , so you get more variety especially in sport cars and convertibles
