[VIC] 1 Free Dad Entry with Child Aged 3-15 ($32) or Aged 0-2 ($0) - Email Registration Required @ Sea Life Aquarium, Melbourne

230

Hi guys, first time posting.

Similar to previous post, Sea Life Aquarium (Melbourne) is having free entry for fathers day when accompanied with a child from Sunday 3rd of September to Tuesday 5th of September. Click on the link and register your email to get a unique code to your inbox. Use this code to make a booking between these dates. You do have to pick a particular time for entry to get the ticket.

The 'FREE Dad' ticket can only be used by 'Dad' - we recognise that Dads come in all different forms and styles, so we welcome Step-Dads, Grandpas, and Uncles. One 'FREE Dad' ticket per transaction.

Dad is free with child entry. Children between 3-15 are charged $32 for one ticket, and children from 0-2 are free!

Hope all the dads out there have a great fathers day.

This is part of Father's Day deals for 2023.

  • Great deal, we went to the other day and it was like $38? Keep in mind the sharks/ray exhibit is down, the highlight is the pengiuns.

    • yeah and its been replaced with some stupid "multimedia experience" aka projections on a wall

  • OK lemur, your current 'deal title' and the following text in your post imply that one adult and one child aged 2 years or under can both get in totally free:

'Adult is free with child entry. Children between 3-15 are charged $32 for one ticket, and children from 0-2 are free!'

Is that in fact the case?

    • +3

Yes correct, got my ticket and my little girls ticket for free. Worked fine on checkout.

Free Entry for 1 Adult with

T&Cs clearly state Free Entry for 'Dad'

"we welcome Step-Dads, Grandpas, and Uncles. One 'FREE Dad' ticket per transaction."

    • something that you've never had

      • Have you had Free Entry ?

If so, did you enjoy it?

  • Link above is redirecting to a booking page not allowing the code to be obtained or just me?

*Edit - The website is playing funny buggers on an Android phone on Chrome. Recommend using a PC for this website.

  • Not fair. I took my Dad to the aquarium recently and he had to pay full price. I'm only slightly over the age cut off limit for a child at 33, they should have given some leeway.

    • that's because you had no sign of runny nose and headed empy handed with no ice cream
try wip and whing a little you get grand entry ha ha

  • question- can mum be a dad because it dosn't say gender ?
how about single mums, foster parents and carers ? Thanks

  • To redeem this, an unique code is required, which can be obtained by email after clicking out of the ticket ordering box.
They didn't appear to limit this to males, but rather 'Dads' in quotes, which is clarified as "primary caregivers" as per below. Likewise, they ran a mother's day promotion with very similar terms earlier in the year.

In the email, here is the description:

    VISIT OVER THREE DAYS
    FREE ADULT TICKET*

As a THANK YOU to all the primary caregivers for the tireless work they do, you're invited to visit any of our 9 attractions across ANZ for Free*

    YOUR UNIQUE CODE

This online only offer is valid to visit over the following dates, Sunday September 3 to Tuesday September 6.

Input your unique code to redeem your tickets online by selecting an Attraction below. It can be used once and must be redeemed with a paying ticket before 11:59pm September 2, 2023. Further T's and C's may apply, visit the attraction website for more.

  • Did this last year, was very packed but still a good day out. They had to stop walk ins it was that packed. Doesn't seem quite as good as I remember, some empty exhibits and they got rid of the car with the fish inside…
