  • What about old and fragile Chromebook users?

  • I believe these offers are serialised. I redeemed a year of Google One from my Chromebook previously. Now when I try with another account that was never subscribed to Google One, it doesn't allow me. Each device can activate the offer once on one account I assume?

Yes, there is a unique coupon code embedded.
Used to buy old rusty chromebooks to redeem this. Its one per account but you can family share

  • How much Google will charge after 12 months?

    • You can cancel it before it charges you.

        Or move to Turkiye!

        • Correct!!

        • How do you renew for Turkey? I've got an email saying they will continue my account @ 2.49/m.

VPN and update to annual fee??

        • That method no longer works. It's resulting in account suspensions. I don't recommend wasting your time until a new problem method pops up.

  • Is new Google One user meaning new Gmail or can existing work? Bought a Chromebook last year but pretty sure I never redeemed anything

    • If you haven't redeemed it yet, I would put a Gmail account that you haven't used Google One before.

  • If I redeem it now,
can I purchase/upgrade to the 1To tier in October to buy the Pixel 8 Pro and benefit from the 10% cashback, and then go back to my 100Go tier?

    • Might as well just take the 2TB $3.18/month for 3 months and then downgrade.

      • Thanks I meant 2To, there is no 1To.
But thank you for noting it, I did not know they had a 3months for $3.12/mo offer. It looks like new, cuz I was checking regularly and could only see the 1 month for 0$.62 on the basic 100GB plan.

It's been there a couple weeks afaik, alongside the 100GB deal
