Free nights? It’s only 1 night free if you sign up to Accor Plus in Australia so you’re still looking at paying for the second night.
Plugged in the dates for you and most places in Melbourne have availability for Stay Plus night except Sofitel on Collins.
However personally, I wouldn’t use them at these hotels as it’s not value for money.
Where is good value for money? I don't know where to use mine.
In Melbourne I like to use mine at the Sofitel. If you’re heading up Sydney the Sofitel there is worth it as well.
You need to be more specific; Sydney has two Sofitels.
I previously bought the membership from Indonesia for $400 for 2 nights. It could be a bit lower depending if they have a promotion going.

Mercure Melboiurne available all 3 nights using the free nights
Movenpick Hotel is available for 27th and 29th using the free night, for the 28th its $30 whens using the free nights.
