Looking for feedback as I'm having hard time finding one.
Had a sparky offer some Atom Lighting devices, including a bathroom heater, fans, and some down lights.
I can't find many reviews. The spark says he has no issues and there is a warranty on them all that includes labor, but I would still love it if anyone here has any experience with the brand.
So far I see this pretty much about any brand. Saw good share of bad reviews for IXL as well, and this seems to be the go to for sparkys here

Atom is a trade only lighting brand. Meant to be one of the better ones with a good reputation so you'll be fine. Doesn't mean much but they are usually priced a bit higher than the other trade supplied brands.
All my downlights are atom. Happy with them so far. Had 2 fail out of 30 in 7 years
That's pretty good. They only recently started doing fans and bathroom heaters, hope these are as reliable as down lights

They are one of the ‘big boys’ of the lighting importers and by name has been around for donkey years going through a few ownership changes an and is actively stocked at most electrical wholesalers.
They have fierce pricing (compared to other brands of similar distribution and range ) l). They also have a strong retail presence via retailers (eg jd) and lighting showrooms (eg ideal electrical showrooms) . The products did have a reputation for being meh back in the day but these days I think overall they are fine.
If sparky will back the product and labour included, what other issues would still be holding you back?

The only thing holding me back is not knowing the brand and all other sparkys suggesting IXL. That said, this thread rectifies lack of reviews for me.
Another point is apparently they started with fans and bathroom heaters only this may, so these products are still very new to the market. Hope they're as good as their lights.

Just get sparky to supply and install that then if you feel it’s the superior product. Some sparkys may be a bit funny about going with customer specified products instead and outline labour will not be covered under call outs for warranty. Idk though, it’s a small extractor fan and two high wattage halogen globes (base model) - not much goes wrong with it other than halogen lamps blowing in time (which isn’t a warranty thing)
I had a ‘Brilliant’ brand 3 in 1 light and bathroom fan installed by a sparky 4 months ago. Cash of course. And one of the LEDs has got water damage or some shit to it now, so things can and do go wrong.
I don't really care about the brand, and the fact all other sparkys chose that means nothing to me really. But I never heard of Atom before so thought I needed some feedback.
My electrician recommended them, we've subsequently done the entire house. About 1.5 years so far, no issues.

Yeah mate literally had 20 atom brand downlights put in yesterday. No dramas good price would recommend.

we have had 3 go out over the years. has been the same problem blown cap 6.8UF 400v in the led driver. about $30 each in 2016 for these ATMAT9012/SIUCW. 20 in total.
They're cheap (and a known brand); probably better than most for a residential installation (rather than something from bunnings or somewhere else). Wouldn't say "high quality" but good enough.
This helps but I don't know if I can believe you. What would a beaver know about lighting?
