Any of you Chromecast users notice input lag with the remote?
I'm using the brand new batteries it came with and there is an annoying input lag from the remote to the device

Mine doesn't lag. At least not noticeably…
yes mine does sometimes. I think it could be something interfering it or the chromecast is lagging.
did u try restarting? the option is in settings, usually fixes any issues including no sound/ lag with my old chrome cast

Do you have other TV or monitor that you can test the Chromecast with to see the lag with your remote there too?
Never had this issue with the Firestick, but the FS died and replaced it with a Chromecast.
Seems like a few users reporting the issue but no fix yet

Is it lag or just the button hard to press? Mine with the HD one has left button hard to press.
Definitely lag.

yes. Has the same problem. For my case, it's the remote control itself. I controlled chromecast TV using my samsung tv remote and feels less "sluggish". Contacted google about this problem, they wanted me to send back the remote for them to investigate before they send me a replacement unit. Told them I need the remote to control the chromecast tv and they wouldn't budge.
I start to de-google myself and got the firestick TV 4K. The buttons are harder to press, but no lag issue whatsoever.
ps: yes I did change battery, reset, re-pair, and non solved my problem.
pps: Both Google Chromecast TV and the remote has some lag. When you combine both, for me, it's really annoying.
