i think paying $32 (!!!) to see some electric cars is kind of a hard ask

but hey maybe there's some rich Tesla owners expecting to see St. Elon the Russian

    • Don't rush … plus $3.95 fee :)

That actually seems worse than the entry fee

If it's similar to the Fully Charged event I attended in Sydney a few months ago, it's not worth the train fare to get there. I honestly wouldn't attend again even if it was free.

Very disappointing, a lot more about the technology than charging and EV cars, but even about the technology was not good enough for a paid event. I saw Tesla and Polaris, and then a few Chinese brands but only a couple cars. There was one Cupra Born but it was not an actual Cupra space so they didn't know much about the car.

If you are interested in EV cars you better do an online search and then visit the actual brands to check what they have and see the models.

    • I wouldn’t mind us getting NIO here.

didn’t think there were enough cars on the market in australia to even make it worth it, even with sample models that brands have in australia.

but includes e-bikes and scooters , so might appeal to food delivery industry.

Miss the old car show…no replacement for displacement

Not a show, but if you are in QLD you can register for the next iteration of the RACQ EV test drive day :

        Especially in Qld lol

  • Electric cars are already here, future would be hydrogen 😄

  • Is it sponsored by the gasoline producers of Australia?

    • One of us, one of us lol

    lol, $36 yeah no

  • Pay to go see a bunch of exhibits to basically sell you stuff. Who are they kidding. The bulk of attendees will be the exhibitors staff and those people they have given free tickets to.
This is going to be a monumental flop. They needed to make it free admission and then they may get a reasonable number of consumers through the door.
Checked out the exhibitors list, extremely small for the entrance fee being charged, Tesla aren’t even there, just the Tesla owners club LOL

i dont see the bargain here …. its a car showroom in one spot, your doing the manufacturers a favor by going, so it should be free! (like if you went to the individual dealer showrooms).
they arent offering less than you would get in you went to a dealer.

  • If anyone is planning to attend today and split a ticket with me, pls pm. Could take a chance for $18, definitely not full price! 😅
