I have a range of OXO pop containers and find them very well designed - airtight, can easily remove lid with one hand, and stackable.
Never thought that I'd say this about a container, but the "pop" mechanism is satisying to use.
This is my most commonly used size - 1L in capacity, rectangular with a square top.

      Well they’re not really vacuum sealed. I’ve never stored coffee in one but they don’t let any smell out with the stuff I do put in them, if that helps answer your question at least a bit?

      You really want something that can vent off (release) gas for coffee beans. The beans release gas over time, and in an airtight container, they'll expand.

    I have a couple of the kmart variants which I’m pretty pleased with. Anybody have both and can comment on the differences? Are the OXO really worth the extra cost?

      I don't have both. However, I'd say the main difference is the pop mechanism vs the flip. I find the pop mechanism quite satisfying to use, quick, and can easily be used with one hand. I'd prefer the oxo when on sale for only a couple of dollars more. At retail price I doubt the extra costs is worthwhile.

      I filled my kitchen with the kmart ones. Horrible waste of money. Lids broken on probably 80% of them and they are hard to clean on top. Kmart is such junk.

        I don't have the oxo but enjoyed the Kmart one. The lid is easy to clean, U can take that apart and take out the spring when cleaning, very easy to put back together

    These are ridiculously expensive for some bloody plastic containers even at $25. Should be $12 max. Not more than that.
