Delivery from the US. Arriving 21st Sept for me. Amazing product and a great price.

    • Hope you bought 2, to get 11% off

  • How many bottles for an suv?

    • 1-2 sprays per panel! It lasts me quite a long time. Check out the you tube videos

    • +1

1 will do at least 4 times if done correctly

      • +7

Nice… also for anyone reading. Watch project farms video comparison on YouTube. This is the bees knees.

    • +2

1 bottle should last you roughly about 4-6 applications.

i like the wet wax better.
wash car, rinse, spray wet wax per panel and wipe off. more efficient.

      • I use this turtle wax… https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253158186968

What's wrongwith just washing the car with this? The detergent includes wax.

        • The ceramic spray will last 3-9 months and offer much better chemical/UV protection, slickness and marginally better gloss. It'll also be properly hydrophobic which some people enjoy and can be used on glass/trim.

        • +1

its better then wash without wax, but the wax in the wash isn't much. i don't know how it is now, but before the wash and wax had visual carnauba wax beads in it, so you aren't getting a full coating of the wax, it would just wax the the parts with beads that you wiped in. a fresh wash you can't tell. when it rains, you can see the parts where it got waxed. i don't know how it is now, but my favourite wax to use is a wet wax. after you wash and rinse, just spray 1-2 sprays per panel, and wipe dry as usual. very easy to do, and i find it to have the most effective way of waxing with very minimal effort.

it works so well, that i don't even have to do a dedicated wax of claying and polishing the car before i wax. all i do now is just wash, rinse, ceramic wet wax, and wipe dry.

      • Agreed.
While I find this one longer lasting than the wet waxes, you need to put far more effort with the wiping stage as otherwise it leaves streaks and.. Smudges? I guess.

Usually I don't notice it till the light hits the paint on another day.

    • I’ve double coated my CX-5 3 times and still have a 1/4 bottle left.

      • Is this a thing? Double coating gives longer effect? I only want to apply it once a year.

        • Yea, it’s on the label.

Apply once, let it cure, it says 24 hours but if it’s hot/summer you could just do it overnight.

  • Is everyone else forced to sign for international Amazon packages? Everyone else is happy to leave at my place but international Amazon packages always need to be signed for. Wondering if that can be avoided somehow.

    • Mine does not need signatures. Might depend on which company they use to deliver / the delivery person

    • +1

If it's sold by Amazon US I thought it is bulk shipped to Amazon AU warehouse then repacked and reshipped locally with whatever local AU Amazon delivery man.

If marketplace then it's probably USPS…which becomes Auspost and whatever is paid for. Usually doesn't require signature for me.

    • I have never needed signature for Amazon US. I have however from Amazon JP

      • Guess I'm lucky/unlucky, and there's no rhyme or reason for when they require it.

      • My last Amazon JP delivery required a signature, previous ones did not.

  • Ordered. What are you using for the wash before this?

    • Good question, I would guess foam and hadn wash so there are no debries

      • Using a clay bar as well gives even better results.

        • -1

Good point. So wash the clay bar then spray. Any good place to get clay ?

          • +1

@life is suffering: I'm not an enthusiast, got mine from Supercheap auto, Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Bar Kit (when it was discounted of course).

          • +4

@life is suffering: Generally not recommended to clay if you aren't going to machine polish as it can cause marring.
There are less abrasive clay mitts/pads that are fine though.

          • +1

@life is suffering: Repo has Bowden's Own Fine Clay Bar 60g for $13 on clearance, usually $27.

    • +1

Cheap Armor-all car wash is fine. Use the double-bucket method and a microfiber mitt and drying towel. There's nothing magical about other car washes besides including a little glaze.

      • Do you reckon this is a car wash?

        • +1

          No, look at the question.

  • May be a stupid question but is there a use by date for this stuff?
I already have a ceramic spray I'm working through so don't want to just throw this out in 5 years 🤣

    • The stuff definitely goes a bit funny. I have one that after about 12mo of being open has formed noticeable clumps. I'm not sure if it's just once it gets opened however?

    • What is the shelf life of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions?
Shelf Life: Shelf life is considered to be 7 – 10 years when properly stored and kept closed.

  • +2

I wouldn't buy this product specifically, although a good price for it.

    Buy cheap, buy apply twice

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1scapz5l39I

    • Why'd this get negged? So useful

      • -1

        useful yes, practical no.

most likely people interested in this product want something easy for the average person, and not professional for car shows. lol

the ceramic turtle wax you really can't mess up. wash, rinse, dry, spray, then wipe. very very easy and quick.
its even easier if you buy the wet wax. wash car, rinse, spray wet wax, wipe dry. so you wax and dry all in the same step, it's so awesome. i can wash my suv in like 30-45 minutes. i can wash it when i get home and finish before the sunset.

    • Thanks, this is really good. But seems too much research 😏 any recommended one that's cheap on AU to use?

      • +1

        This deal is pretty cheap

  • I'm seeing a price of 34$..

Even with 2 comes to 68$

    Is the deal finished.

    • Still showing up the deal price for me. Maybe refresh? Use different browser?

      • Using my app

    • $34 is Amazon AU, you need to look for Amazon US.

    • at right hand side column of the screen look for other sellers

  • Will this work well with black car ?

    • Yes, but they also have a black version at higher cost. I have no experience with the black one.

      • Repco sells the black one cheap on clearance if your local still has stock.

They're the same product, one just has acrylic fillers which make the paint pop briefly but it doesn't bond. Forensic Detailing has a good comparison.

  • Meguiars ultimate compound vs this. these are comparable things? or just a different level

    • +4

Different. Compound is for paint correction. Wax is for paint protection which is this.

      • Thanks mate. I use it for fine swirls and polishing the car once a year. if i got it right, so vax is for protecting the polished or non-polished paint?

        • You can use for both paint, ideally you would want to polish the paint and seal it with the wax, the best option is getting your car ceramic coated which can cost over 600+ but worth the money if you love your car.

        • +2

        How do I avoid that?

        • +1

Free if Prime. Perhap you don't have prime membership? Maybe see what happens if you buy 2, 11% off, but the purchase is >$39. Sorry if I'm not helpful, don't know how it works if you don't have Prime membership.

        • buy another one for spare

  • How does this compare to Bowden's like bead machine/ happy ending? Thanks.

Turtle Wax 53413 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer - 32 Fl Oz

    $27.29 after 45% off

    Is the above better?

    • Would also love to know! Going by the reviews it seems you do this first and then you can add the ceramic coat over the top?

No need to wash car. Just grab microfibre towel, spray this stuff on your dirty car, wipe away dirt, bird droppings, etc. It cleans and protects… waterless washing

TurtleWax 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating Wax, 473 ml
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RavkMAdy4dI
Basically, the car needs to be washed and dried before applying this stuff but it supposedly lasts longer, up to 12 months.

For the lazy, 3-1 better. For the rest, the 53409 is better. Project Farm did a test and this was the best/winner.
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYxKQwZah1s

      • Wouldn’t the ceramic wax miss the detailing step though? And therefore combining them both would be better for shine?

      • +4

I wouldn't recommend anyone try waterless washing, unless you don't care about your paint work… and chances are if you're using one of these products, you do care.

Guy throws tons of grit & dirt on the car and then proceeds to clean it with 3-in-1. He says it has so much "lubrication" it prevents scratches being made.

I don't think they would have invented the product if there was no use case. The amazon listing page has thousands of positive reviews. I think a better way to put it is, I wouldn't use the 3-1 on an expensive car, but my 10yr old work van… why not.. Saves time, protects the car.

  • +4

HOT deal. Especially since it costs so much more here to start. In Canada $15 for Seal and Shine and this for $15 to $20 was a steal so I'd say this is a great buy. Use it on the glass too heck use it on shower glass or whatever for that sweet beading

    • +2

Thanks for being so positive. Tough crowd here on OzB!

  • +2

I use this stuff on all my road bikes and it keeps them looking incredible for a long time. Also makes it super easy to hose them off (being careful of course) and have them come up new.

Only takes around 5 minutes to put on after washing your bike but it makes a huge difference!

    • +1

Just bought this, first time using. Do you only apply to the tank area only? or just any where about is still ok?

      • +1

By road bike I meant cycle, but you can add it onto any painted surface, so most definitely a motorbike. I would put it over any exposed surface with the exception of leather. I've put it on painted metal, metal, glass and plastic trims and never had any issues. It's great on a variety of things because of its water beading properties. It could stain leather so I would keep it away from that.

        • +1

Cheers. Ahah I thought you meant motorcycle xD

    • makes it super easy to hose them off (being careful of course)

      Careful of what?

      • Too strong a water spray can strip stickers (bicycle), or paint jobs even!

  • Went to buy another two
Not getting the 11% off, although still shows on the main product page.

Got the 11% off on my first order. Are these 11% promos only on one order? Do they need to be seperate items to get the extra discount?

    • +1

the buy 2 for 11% is no longer showing. hrmm

  • +3

such a great price even for 1 bottle. Cheers OP

  • +2

Thanks OP, showing $25 at checkout 👍

  • buy 2 but not 11% discount

  • Not getting 11% off as well

  • Used 2 bottles but have moved on to graphene flex wax, similar but finding better durability

  • is it good for car parked outside?

    • Yeah it's better than just simple wax. Not as good as putting a physical cover on top though

  • Would this be better than the Autoglym I normally use? My main concern is tree saps. I really dont care about water beading or anything else.
    https://www.repco.com.au/car-care-panel/car-care/polish-rest…

  • Does this work on windshields? Or snorkels with glass lenses?

    • +2

Yes, though some people report it can catch light in a hazy fashion at nighttime. That really shouldn't be an issue if you buff it properly though. It won't prevent fog but water will definitely flow off easier. If you want fog prevention try shaving cream no meme.

  • +1

Thanks op. Good value. Only $5 more than the turtle wax hard shell liquid wax I normally use.

  • I have plenty of snow job left over so can't touch this until I use my 3L of SJ.

  • Anyone used this on partially anodised wheels? Trying to protect some wheels and make life easier cleaning them but don’t want to ruin the finish of the wheels

  • +7

    false advertising. contains 0% turtle

    • lol

    • +1

      Pro’s:
The chemical reaction produced in the bottle has been known to create N.I.N.J.A
Not specific to turtles but includes the splinter rat species.

      Con’s:
      Excessive shredding
      Beebops and foot issues

  • -1

How long does this last on the car?

    • +2

This was literally second question up above- you don’t really read comments do you?

  • +1

    Cheers OP. Grabbed one

  • 2 hours left until the deal finishes. Hope you guys got a few.
