I've tried several pellets and non-pellets, clumping non-clumping cat litter, I found this one is great with odour control, one of the cat litter boxes located in our laundry room that gets lots of sun and so far world's best is the one doesn't get that smelly and only need to replace the whole box every month as per the manufacturer recommendation, but honestly it could go a bit longer. I use the cat litter in kmart top entry litter boxes and virtually no tracking.
My cat who has sensitive paw pads prefer its soft grain texture, and we brought home a rescue kitten and he used it right away without a transition.

I've tried the Original one then changed to the Lavender for my two cats over a year but I'm getting the Multi cat one now, as one of my cats got overwhelmed by the Lavender smell when I just replaced the whole litter then avoided to use it until the smell gets less powerful. It's a shame cause it's actually a nice smell and we got less earwigs attracted to it than the original one. One of the down side of this litter is the clump isn't a tight as the clump if using clay cat litter but it's easy enough to scoop and also some people find it too crumbly, I only have this problem if it's not deep enough, so I always keep the depth about 3-4cm. Hope this helps.

Gee, quite expensive. I used to buy 15kg catmate litter which was good - usually $20-24 - but for some reason now it's closer to $40.
    Now I buy Kitter 15kg for $20

    • Where do you get the Kitter?

Wood pellets is certainly cheaper but still prefer this as it found that I need to change the whole tray more often with wood pellets

      • I don't find that I have that problem as I use a sieve tray. The sawdust goes to the bottom.

        • Yes I did use the sieve, but our laundry room gets a lot of sun and it gets abit smelly when its a bit warm. And my little miss fussypots hates the wood pellets, I think she just likes something softer.

  • This is a great litter, but it does get cheaper $38.99 according to the camels. I bought quite a few bags last time it was that price.

  • if you click on other sellers they are selling it for $20, which is very cheap.

    • There're three different sellers at this price, and there are all new sellers.

      • is that bad? won’t amazon step in if there is an issue ?

        • I strongly recommend not to get one from new sellers. I've had an experience buying from a new seller, never received the item and have contacted the seller but they closed their account and no refund as well as it's been too long.

  • Just finished a bag of the green one. Don't think I'll get it again. I'm a big fan of Moshizon, but it's about $80 for 20kg

Using in both a litter robot and manual litter box

    • Which litter robot you got? In the market to get one.

      • We have a litter robot 3 open-air connect. Haven't gotten the connect function to work with our home network despite trying a couple of times, so we just use it as if it were a non connect. It works pretty well, but I don't think is reliable enough to use as a single litterbox (gets stuck occasionally), hence why we also have a backup which one of our cats prefers anyway.

The litter robot 4 seems to have an issue with urine getting caught in a particular spot - watch the video reviews by Philip Bloom (https://www.youtube.com/c/OneManFiveCats) on youtube before buying

        • I like his reviews, he's very thorough.

I went through a period of trying a dozen different cat litters to find one that really suited me.

Originally I went with the lavender one but now use the unscented.

I decided this was my favourite litter for the following reasons:

    1. Flushable
    2. Clumps urine
    3. Good value
    4. Disguises some of the smell
    5. Lasts longer without replacement

It did take my cats a while to get used to it however

    • Agree with you 👍🏼

  • This is the litter that my cat uses. I have subscribe and save delivery every 2 months and that seems to work out ok.

I also have an unopened ezilockodour starter kit that I bought ages ago on eBay when there was a great deal on. Just not sure how to transition from one system to the other. I don't want to make a change and all of a sudden have to start cleaning up outside the litter tray.

Feel like it would probably be cleaner overall. Anyone with a clue about this i'd be very happy to hear from you.

I like the aldi one and it's cheap. How does this one compare?

    • Aldi one is pretty good

    • Are you referring to the clumping clay one? I've tried it once and I found it to be a bit dusty and it did make me cough, also less risk for my kitten to ingest the litter while grooming. You can also flush the clumps to the toilet as it's biodegradable.

If you're after an alternative to try, give horse bedding pellets a go. They seem to work really well for us, and is about $15 for a 15kg bag.

    • Thank you, I've tried several wood pellets, my cats breeder also suggested the one from ozpets manufacturer but it just doesn't work for us

  • $4.56 per kilo. More expensive than chicken drumsticks!

    • But do your cats like shitting on a pile of drumsticks?

      • Good point. My cats like to eat chicken though. I'd feel a bit off paying more for litter than their food.

I use this one, my favourite by far. Last a good 2 to 3 weeks if you scoop the crap out every 2 or 3 days

Don’t need it the cat use the neighbour backyard

  • I'm a fan of the Michu dry tofu one. Flushable, doesn't seem to smell, lasts ages, clumps well. Only it is getting harder (and dearer) to get.

  • Litter with scent?? What could go wrong??
I prefer and have been using Rufus & Coco for years now, no scent but natural, flushable (corn) without smelly rubbish bin, does a nice work to control poop smell.

I bought 16kg at PetCircle for around $65, this one is only 12kg and RRP is $70 so unless you find this promotion over and over, you are paying more for less.

OP, Amazon is showing this litter for $20.10 with 73% off

    • The only reason that I tried the Lavender one because where I live there's lots of earwigs and they're attracted to the Original one, and my daughter would go crazy if she spots a single earwig. Well, the earwigs don't like the Lavender and so is one of my cats :(
